GRAND HARBOR

SUMMER GOLF SCHEDULE

As the summer season begins, Grand Harbor adjusts its golf schedule to match the rhythm of the club.

Association play moves to Wednesdays, with 18-hole play beginning at 9:00 a.m. and 9-hole play beginning at 9:30 a.m. Organized group play continues throughout the summer, and members are encouraged to submit group requests so the Golf Team can coordinate tee sheets.

Key May golf dates include Mother’s Day Tournament, Interclub Match with Tesoro, Nine & Dine, Ladies’ Summer Invitational, and Memorial Day Weekend events.

Which Grand Harbor Golf Course Is Open During the Summer?

This summer, both golf courses at Grand Harbor remain open throughout the season with a scheduled rotation of temporary closures as part of the club’s annual summer maintenance and improvement program.

The River Course continues to offer one of the most scenic rounds of golf in Vero Beach, featuring open fairways on the front nine and more strategic target-style golf on the back. Mangroves, waterways, and native Florida landscapes make it one of the most visually distinctive golf experiences on the Treasure Coast.

The 2026 summer golf course closure schedule is as follows:

Harbor Course Closure (Part 1):
May 26 – June 30 (5 weeks)

River Course Closure (Part 1):
July 1 – August 4 (5 weeks)

Harbor Course Closure (Part 2):
August 5 – September 1 (4 weeks)

River Course Closure (Part 2):
September 2 –September 30 (4 weeks)-

Additional practice area closures include:

River Putting Green near Tee 1: May 25 & August 5

River Chipping Green near Tee 1: May 25 & August 5

Clock Green (Clubhouse Green): July 1 & September 2

These scheduled closures support aerification, verticutting, bunker edging, and overall course conditioning improvements during the summer season.

Grand Harbor Practice Facilities
This Summer

While the Harbor Practice Facility is currently under renovation, members still have access to practice amenities at the River Course Aqua Range, including hitting areas, chipping greens, and putting areas throughout the summer season.

The renovation of the Harbor Practice Facility is one of the club’s most anticipated projects. When completed, the new Harbor Practice facility will include expanded practice amenities and a new halfway house offering light bites and refreshments.

Throughout the summer, Grand Harbor continues work on tee complexes, turf improvements, and practice enhancements as part of the club’s larger long-term investment into the golf experience.
